Name the numerals
Each round plays an unlabelled loop in C: diatonic roles, borrowed colors, and bright outsiders, all mixed. Feel each chord's job against home, then say its numbers. This is relative pitch: the real, learnable skill behind "playing by ear".
How to listen
Don't chase the pitches. Anchor home first, then ask of each chord: resting or leaning? Bright or shadowed? Inside the key or visiting? The numerals follow from the answers.

Keep the skill sharp
The Progression room deals endless loops like these. Its borrowed pool carries the diatonic seven plus bVII, bVI, bIII, bII, and iv.
